Easy DIY Install In 4 Steps
1. Measure
Measure the area you want to cover with faux brick or stone.
2. Calculate Square Footage
Multiply the height by width to calculate the total number of square feet you want covered.
Don't forget to subtract any areas you aren't planning to cover.
3. Divide by Square Footage in Each Product Box
Divide the total square feet by the square foot per box for the product you want to purchase.
*Make sure to order 5% - 10% more than you need to account for cut-product used to customize your area.
4. Add Products to Cart and Check Out
Add the correct number of boxes to your shopping cart.
Don't forget to add corners (if you need them) along with installation products including Manubric adhesive, grout, cone and trowel.

Love this product. We have a now have beautiful brick fireplace for a fraction of the cost. Because we installed ourselves, we were able to save on labour costs and layout the pattern exactly how we imagined!
Recently finished our fireplace at the cottage . Was pretty easy to install . Some of the bricks are not perfectly flat on all of the edges so it took some adjusting to ensure the courses are level . If you installed tile this is a breeze . Great product very happy with the outcome .
I renovated my bathroom and the only issue I ran into was a chimney that ran through the corner. Every other product I found need to have fasteners to attach it. I couldn't do that because of it being cement blocks. Manubric was perfect for this problem.

For best results with a wood fireplace, add the stone veneer to a cement board so the adhesive works properly for the life of your product. No need to add a cement board with gas fireplaces.

A silane/siloxane-based sealer is recommended to effectively protect the stone and facilitate maintenance.
Ecostone products comply with building codes for installation on a fireplace, as their concrete construction renders them non-combustible. We recommend using a polymer-modified adhesive for installation (ANSI 118.4, as indicated on the bag). For a backsplash installation, we also recommend using a polymer-modified adhesive (ANSI 118.4, as indicated on the bag), along with applying a silane/siloxane-based sealer to adequately protect the stone and make maintenance easier.
The concrete used in manufacturing Ecostone products is similar to that used for house foundations. If the bricks are properly adhered using a polymer-modified adhesive (ANSI 118.4, as indicated on the bag), they will withstand a floor installation. However, the texture and color of the stone surface may wear over time, which is why we recommend using a silane/siloxane-based sealer and a surface hardener. We do not guarantee the product against floor wear and tear. For joints, it is recommended to use a type S mortar due to its higher cement content and increased hardness.
There are various exterior installation systems based on your house's wall construction. We advise referencing local codes and consulting a professional to choose the appropriate system. Generally, a waterproof membrane (e.g., Tyvek) is used as a base layer, followed by an air gap. The stone veneer is then installed on a metal mesh or on fiber cement sheets (e.g., Durock or Permabase). The stone is adhered using the double bonding technique (a layer of grooved adhesive on the wall and a layer behind the stone) to ensure proper suction. We recommend using a polymer-modified adhesive (ANSI 118.4, as indicated on the bag).
Our products can be installed on plywood using a polymer-modified adhesive that meets ANSI 118.11 standards (as indicated on the bag) and using the double bonding technique (a layer of grooved adhesive on the wall and a layer behind the stone). However, this substrate does not offer the best adhesion, and it's possible to replace plywood with fiber cement, which is generally more cost-effective and offers superior adhesion. Installation on plywood is not recommended for outdoor use.
